Patrick Schmelzer was Born in 1994 in Karlsruhe. In 2013 he began to study industrial engineering at the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT). 2018 he finished his Bachelor with emphasis on Public Finance and Finance. In May 2022 he finished his Master likewise at the KIT. Since April 2019 he is ​research assistant at the Chair of Public Finance and Public Management.
